Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What laundry products do you use?

    1. Currently, we use Tide Original (powder) detergent and Downy Unstoppables Scent Booster (FRESH)

  2. What if I don’t like or can’t tolerate your detergent and fabric softener?

    1. No problem. You are welcome to provide your own detergent or softener. Just leave your preferred products with your laundry bag on pick up day. We will return unused products with your clean laundry. Please note: there are no discounts for providing your own products.

  3. What items can I include in my bag?

    1. We offer this service for everyday laundry: clothing, socks/undergarments, towels, sheets. We do offer individual pricing for larger and specialty items (see below).

  4. What items are prohibited?

    1. Items we cannot wash at this time are: dry clean only items, rugs, pillows, curtains, sofa covers, hats, cloth diapers, or any clothing with excessive pet hair, hazardous chemicals or bedbugs. We reserve the right to refuse service on any item we feel will damage our machines or are hazardous for us to handle.

  5. Will my laundry be washed with other people’s laundry?

    1. Absolutely not! Every order is processed separately to keep your items private and properly cared for.

  6. Do I need to sort my items?

    1. Heck no! That’s what we’re here for. We will separate your items into whites, lights, and darks for every order. Towels and sheets will not be washed with clothing.

  7. Do you do stain removal?

    1. Of course! We’ll do our best to remove stains that you indicate or that we see in our initial sorting/inspection. If you are aware of specific stains, make a note in your order online or on your laundry tag. It is useful to know the source of the stain as well. We’re usually successful in removing stains but cannot guarantee the removal of all stains. But if we’re aware of one, and it’s not set, we’ll do our best to remove it.

  8. What if I leave something in my pockets?

    1. We try to check all pockets before washing, but it’s always best for you to double-check your pockets for pens, gum, or anything valuable before placing items in the laundry bag.

  9. What if I have special requests (like no softener or hang dry certain items)?

    1. Just include special instructions on your order page and/or on the identification tag on your laundry bag.

  10. What if I can’t fit everything in 1 bag?

    1. Order as many bags as you need. You will be charged per bag (whether full or not). Our bags are extra large and will hold around 35 pounds of laundry (approximately a week’s worth of laundry for 2 people). At this time, we do not offer smaller bags.

  11. What if I lose one of your bags?

    1. There is a $20 fee for lost or destroyed bags.

  12. What time does my laundry need to be on my porch the day of pick up?

    1. Please have all bags set out by 7am on the day of pick-up.

  13. What if I need my items back the same day?

    1. We can offer same day turn around. There will be a $20 RUSH fee for this service.

  14. What if I forget or don’t get my laundry out by 7am on my scheduled day?

    1. Things happen; we understand. Please do your best to notify us or cancel/reschedule your pick-up day. If there has been no communication, we come to pick up and your bags are not out, there will be a missed pick-up fee of $20. Please just communicate with us. We can work with you!
